The UCLA Family Cancer Registry & Genetic Evaluation Program

The purpose of the registry is to collect information from people and their families who may share possible genetic risks of cancer. The registry makes this information available to researchers who study how these cancers develop and how they might be prevented, treated and cured. A registry can help speed the pace of cancer research and the search for effective treatments and cures.

The UCLA registry collects information from those who have or have had cancer as well as healthy individuals who may carry a genetic risk for developing the disease.

The registry provides people with the most current information on cancer, genes and heredity. Participants get a personalized cancer risk assessment and learn about medical management options to detect cancer and or reduce your chances of developing cancer.
